How much does smart lock installation cost in Miami?
We price flat-rate, not by the hour. Tell us the job — a photo or two helps — and we give you one upfront number before anything is scheduled. The price moves with the number of doors, whether the door prep matches the new lock or needs minor adjustment, the type of lock and whether old hardware is coming out first. Whatever we quote is what you pay; there is no clock running and no add-ons at the door.
Can you install a smart lock on a condo door?
Usually yes, but check your building's rules first — some associations restrict changes to unit entry doors or require a specific finish. We can fit retrofit smart locks that sit on the inside and keep the exterior exactly as it was, which most buildings accept.
Which smart lock works best in Miami's humidity?
Any major brand works indoors. For a door exposed to salt air or rain — a house entry near the beach, a side gate — choose a lock rated for exterior exposure and keep a key backup. We will tell you if the lock you bought is a poor fit for the door's exposure.
Do you rekey locks?
