TV Mounting in Miami
Double Handyman mounts TVs on drywall, concrete and block walls across Miami-Dade and South Broward — level, anchored for the TV's weight, with the cables hidden or neatly managed. You get one flat-rate price before we book, an insured pro who cleans up, and a same-week slot in most cases.
Why Miami walls make TV mounting a pro job
Most Miami condos and a lot of houses are built with concrete block or poured concrete, sometimes with a thin layer of drywall or furring over it. A mount that is simply screwed into that drywall will hold for a while and then sag or let go. We find what is actually behind the wall, use the right anchors for it — toggle bolts in drywall, sleeve or wedge anchors in concrete — and drill cleanly without cracking the finish.
The other Miami factor is where the TV wants to go: above a fireplace surround, on a wall shared with a neighbour, or on an exterior wall with rebar inside. We check for pipes and wiring before drilling and tell you if a spot is a bad idea before there is a hole in it.
What's included in a TV mount
- Wall check and anchor selection for drywall, block or concrete
- Fixed, tilt or full-motion mounts — yours or one we bring at cost
- Height and centre marked with you before the first hole
- Cables hidden in-wall where the wall allows it, or in a paintable raceway
- Soundbar, streaming box and console hookup
- Packaging and dust gone when we leave
How it works
Text us the TV size, a photo of the wall and whether you already have a mount. We send a flat price. On the day, we confirm the height with you, mount, run cables, power it on and make sure it is level and the remote reaches. If the building requires a certificate of insurance or a work window, we handle that with your management office first.

Your Questions, Answered
How much does TV mounting cost in Miami?
We price flat-rate, not by the hour. Tell us the job — a photo or two helps — and we give you one upfront number before anything is scheduled. The price moves with the TV size, the wall type (concrete takes longer than drywall), whether cables are going inside the wall and whether we supply the mount. Whatever we quote is what you pay; there is no clock running and no add-ons at the door.
Can you mount a TV on a concrete wall?
Yes. Concrete and block walls are the norm in Miami condos. We drill with the right bit and use sleeve or wedge anchors rated well above the TV and mount weight, so the result is more solid than most drywall installs.
Can you hide the TV wires?
In drywall with an open cavity, yes — we fish the cables down behind the wall to a plate near the outlet. In solid concrete we use a slim paintable raceway instead, which looks clean and does not involve cutting into the slab. We tell you which one applies when we see the wall.
Should I buy the mount or will you bring one?
Either. If you already have one, we check that it fits your TV's VESA pattern and weight. If not, we bring a quality fixed, tilt or full-motion mount and pass it through at cost with the receipt.
Do you work in condos and high-rises with building rules?
Yes, and most of our work is in them. We carry insurance and can send a certificate of insurance to your management office, we work inside the building's permitted hours, use the service elevator when the building requires it, and protect common hallways on the way in and out.
